PR and advertisement gets high priority
Did you know that budgets for PR and advertisement are no longer the first to be cut during a recession?


A recent survey conducted by the research organisation Zapera shows that as many as seventeen per cent of Danish companies will increase PR efforts and budgets if society and the trades and industries are struck by a financial crisis. Only one per cent would make cuts in their PR if the economy slowed down. The survey is based on answers from 214 managers in companies with more than ten employees.

As many as 43 per cent of the companies participating in the survey had an independent PR budget, and 54 per cent of them had increased this budget in the past year.

The result of this survey shows that PR is gaining a higher and higher priority in Danish businesses and acknowledges that positive stories in relevant media can have a positive effect on a company’s position in a tight market.

I nogle tilfælde kommer omtalen af sig selv – men med den rette indsats kan du selv være med til at styre den og få mest muligt ud af de spaltemillimeter, journalisterne tildeler din virksomhed.  Der er mange veje og måder at håndtere processen på - det afhænger alt sammen af din situation og din virksomhed.
