Medieministeriet part of worldwide PR network
Medieminsiteriet recently joined the PR network Tourism Trademark, which is the first worldwide PR network in the tourism and travel industry.

”Tourism Trademark is the world’s leading PR network in the tourism and travel industry, so we’re rather proud to have become part of this exclusive group, which is currently working with some of the world’s leading companies like Lufthansa, Continental Airlines, oneworld, Worldhotels and SAS”, says Medieministeriet director Henrik Koch.

Today the network includes agencies in Spain, Italy, Great Britain, France, Holland, Belgium, Luxembourg, India and the United States. Medieministeriet will cover the gap in the Scandinavian market.

”In addition to giving us the opportunity to exchange knowledge and experience across borders, our membership of Tourism Trademark gives the existing clients in the network the option of expanding their market to include Scandinavia”, points out Henrik Koch.

Upgrades on the trade and marketing front
Joining Tourism Trademark means that we have chosen to expand our competencies in tourism. This is why we have hired trade and marketing specialist Pia Sørensen, and starting November 1st she will counsel new and existing clients in B2B marketing in the travel industry.

”Pia has more than fifteen years of experience from the hotel and tourism industry and through her experiences, competencies and network she can counsel our clients about how, as a hotel or destination, best to work with, and gets the most out of, the various actors in the travel industry to increase your number of visitors, traffic and/or profit”, explains Henrik Koch, who then adds:

”We have long wanted to supplement the knowledge we already have about PR and marketing in the tourism industry with specialist knowledge from ‘the other side of the table’. With Pia we have the chance to do that, as she can both counsel our existing clients better and be ready for any new clients who may come.”

New international website
As an extra measure in this area Medieministeriet will launch a new website this autumn with an international section focussed on international PR and marketing in tourism.

The site will go live on November 1st and is another part of our tourism gamble. It is to make us much more visible to international clients and partners both within and outside the network”, concludes Henrik Koch.

About Travel Lifestyle Network

Travel Lifestyle Network - formerly Tourism Trademark - is the world’s first PR network in the tourism and travel industry and is an international organisation of independent marketing and communications agencies focused especially on this industry.

The members of the network work across borders while the individual agencies maintain their independence and local specialization.

As such the network means that clients get both local knowledge and an international presence. Each agency heads the market in its region and is specialized in tourism communication.

The agencies in the network work with everything from branding, public relations and trade connections to crisis management, event management and advertising.
