TechBrief 2014 completed successfully
For the second year in a row Related hosted the press-event TechBrief and once again it was a great success. 40 journalists from four Nordic countries met over two days 10 distinctive brands from the world of consumer electronics. Related is already planning two TechBrief events in 2015.

Last year at the first edition of TechBrief only Danish journalists attended. This time Related expanded the event to also count journalists from Norway, Sweden and Finland. A decision that turned out  to be a success.
Pleased participants
The basic idea behind TechBrief is to bring technology brands and Nordic journalists together, so everyone will benefit greatly from participating: Journalists get a lot of inputs to exciting stories in just one day, and the companies have the opportunity to meet and network with a broad range of important media. 
This set-up caused excitement among both journalists and participating brands:
- It was the first time we participated in TechBrief, and we are very pleased with the result. TechBrief is a valuable way to present our products and meet a lot of different journalists. It has both strengthened our existing relationships with journalists and allowed us to make contact to new media, which we have not been in dialogue with, says Susanne Persson, Nordic PR Manager for LG. 
Also BenQ, who participated in TechBrief in both 2013 and 2014, were pleased with the successful turn out of the event: 
-TechBrief makes it possible to meet with many journalists over a relatively short time and it is an excellent opportunity to not only showcase existing products, but also reveal some of the products we launch in the next few months, says Stefan Dahlquist CEO of BenQ Nordic. 
A solid concept
The 10 technology brands that participated in the event, besides BenQ and LG, were Razer, Hauppauge, Netgear, SanDisk, NVIDIA, Western Digital, Synology, Computer Works and Zound Industries. Both the impressive attendance of brands and journalists, but also the afterwards media coverage of the event proof the successfulness of the TechBrief concept.
- What started as an idea to bring together journalists and brands from the world of consumer electronics, has now grown into a well-established event concept. We have with TechBrief 2013 and now TechBrief 2014 demonstrated that there is strong support for this set-up from both the Scandinavian press and the international technology brands, and therefore we have already planned two TechBrief events in 2015, says Kathrine Graugaard, Account Executive in Related.
